The Governor's Desk

As Rotarians, please consider giving to our Fellow Rotarians in Zones 33 and 34 for the “Dorian Disaster Relief Fund” as this was a catastrophic storm affecting so many of our Rotarians in coastal towns and islands.

From District Governor, Shari Messinger:

Dear District 7545 Rotarian,

As Rotarians, please consider giving to our Fellow Rotarians in Zones 33 and 34 for the “Dorian Disaster Relief Fund” as this was a catastrophic storm affecting so many of our Rotarians in coastal towns and islands.

What you can give is up to you. Perhaps each member in District 7545, which has a 2000+ membership, could give $10 each… and/or perhaps our clubs could give $100 each. Every dollar will help support much-needed relief efforts.

We had a flood in District 7550 two years ago and received over $200,000 from our Zone brothers and sisters. This is a devastating storm and a substantial donation would be a godsend for everyone affected.

If anyone has a suggestion on any other measures our District can take to help with this impending storm, please let me know. I am counting on each of us to be our best.
